Alene M. Leigh 90 of Bois D' Arc, Mo. passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 9, 2015, in her home, following an extended illness.

Alene, the daughter of George I. and Savannah (Childers) Williams,
was born in Stone County, near Hurley, Missouri July 12, 1924. She
lived in Stone County till the age of 13, when she with her family moved to the Bois D' Arc, Mo. area. She was a longtime resident of the area. Alene was a homemaker and loved her family. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Alene Williams and William "Bill" Leigh were united in marriage December 28, 1942. To this union two children were born. Together they were privileged to share over 56 years. Bill preceded her in death April 22, 1999. Also, preceding her were her parents, two
sisters: Ruth Wisehart and Jessie Kinsinger and four brothers: Bryan,
Leo, Ward and Truman Williams.

She is survived by her loving family, son, Larry W. and T. Diane Leigh and Daughter, Sandy Leigh; and longtime care giver, Louise Clinton, all of Bois D' Arc, Mo; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; and Brother, Windy and wife Arlene Williams of Ash Grove, Mo; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel, Ash Grove with Rev. Gary Burney officiating. Inurnment will be in Yeakley Cemetery, at a later date.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the chapel.
