(Agee) Reaves
May 5, 1927 – October 12, 2023
Alice Marie Agee Reaves, 96 of Everton, passed away in her home, Thursday, October 12, 2023. Alice was born on May 5, 1927, in Nevada, MO to William Franklin and Deborah Alice (Williamson) Agee. On June 10, 1948, Alice and Lloyd W. Reaves were united in marriage and shared over 64 years together before Lloyd's passing in 2012.
Alice had many jobs in her lifetime. She worked at S.H. Kress & Company, a bowling Alley, Barnett's Creamery (strawberry ice cream was her favorite), and co-owned U-Save Oil Company with her husband Lloyd. Her favorite job was as a loving wife and mother. She had a love for children, and she led by example. Alice loved God and His love showed through her. She instilled morals and values into them in all she did. Alice was quick to forgive, had no judgement, was giving, and had empathy for those around her. She enjoyed reading the Bible, various novels, working word puzzles, singing, playing the violin, and crocheting doilies. In her younger years, she loved to bowl, roller skate, play table tennis, and wished she could have played football. Alice will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Alice is survived by her children, Linda Carol Prichard, Mary Ellen Hurt, Barbara June Perez, Ivan Dale Reaves and wife Payge Lynn, Tulena Yvonne Huddleston and husband Mark, Lloyd Wayne Reaves; 21 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; siblings, Stafford Agee, Virginia Crites, Daniel "Dan" Kent Agee, Franklin Agee, Carol Brundridge, Serena Wallace; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, William "Frank" and Deborah Agee; husband, Lloyd W. Reaves; siblings, Calvin Agee, Murial Towe, Marian Perkey, Brenda Agee, Tonya Agee; grandson, Corey Hurt; great grandsons, Wyatt Hurt, Eli Vaughn; and great great grandson, Asher Montalba.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Friday, October 20, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove.
