Alice J. Schneider, 84 of Morrisville, passed away April 18, 2025. She was born August 12, 1940, in San Deigo, California to David and Jean (Novak) Truscott.

Alice had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether she was quietly watching birds, tending to her garden with care, casting a fishing line into the water, or heading out into the woods during hunting season, nature was where she felt most at home. As much as she loved the outdoors, Alice was a nurse to her core. Compassionate, steady, and committed, she cared for others. Nursing wasn't just her career—it was who she was. She continued to serve and support others in any way she could, nursing until the very end. Alice will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her, especially her family who loving called her Wawa.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Sarah McDowell and husband Russ; grandchildren, Jessica Chappell and husband Jason, Jeremy McDowell; great grandchildren, Lincoln Chappell and Reagan Chappell; other family and many friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, David and Jean Truscott and siblings, Sally, Kathy, and John.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
