Obituary

Allen Forshee, 74, of Hermitage, formerly of Willard, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Allen was born on September 15, 1943, Coyne Benton and Leona Mae (Maddy) Forshee in Sacville, MO.  On February 11, 1996 Allen and Mary (McOlgan) were united in marriage, they shared 21 wonderful years together.

Allen graduated from Willard in 1961 and shortly after joined the United States Army.  He was a Private E2 and expert marksmen.  After faithfully serving he returned home and began his civil career.  He had worked for the Missouri State Highway Patrol Maintenance Department, Troop D for 15 years, he also worked for Associated Grocer for 22 years, but most recently he owned and operated Allen's Nu Way Grocery Store in Humansville.  Allen enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he had a fishing pole and a good cold beer in hand.  He treasured his time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Allen is survived by his wife, Mary Forshee of the home; two daughters, Kim Dynes and husband Roger, April Forshee; one son, Todd Forshee and wife Linda, all of Willard; three step-children, Rick Frye and wife Lisa, Tina Bowerman and husband Mike, Rocky Frye and wife Tina, all of AR; grandchildren, Allison Thomason, Katie Dynes, Abbie Dynes, Ashley Forshee, Tanner Forshee, and Destiny Forshee; and several   great grandchildren; special furry friend Missy; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wendell Forshee; sister, JoAnn Sundquist; uncle, John Forshee; step-son, Michael White; and 2 nd wife, Frances Forshee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO and on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 11:00AM-until service time at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Willard, MO.  Funeral services will be Thursday, October 5, 2017 at noon at the church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
