Austin Allen Wright, of Everton, entered into heaven on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the age of 59.

Allen was born on October 28, 1958 to Austin and Louise (Kenney) Wright in Springfield, MO.  On July 20, 1979, Allen and Cheryl (Schletzbaum) were united in marriage; together they shared almost 39 years.

Allen was a true outdoorsman and old time cowboy.  He loved to take his horses on a trail ride, he loved to hunt, and he loved to go fishing.  He enjoyed the outdoors even more when he would go camping with Cheryl or when he took the grandchildren out to shoot.  Allen was also very curious about the world and all the different cultures.  He enjoyed exploring the world and learning all that he could. Allen loved to help others and his family was always a priority.  Allen constantly made sure to take the extra time to say "I love you" to his family.  He never said goodbye without it.  Allen was the best Papa any grandchild could ever have.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Allen is survived by his wife, Cheryl of the home; daughters, Ashley Tracy and husband Matthew of Everton, Jennifer Wilson and husband Adam of Greenfield; 4 grandchildren, Madie Hays, Payton Wilson, Landon "Bub" Tracy, Natalie Wilson; two brothers; four sisters; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother, Wayne Wright.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Funeral services will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery, Everton, MO.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Liberty Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home.
