Allene Bary-Cooper's Obituary
Allene Bary-Cooper passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Ash Grove Health Care Facility. Allene was born March 1, 1941, to John and Pearl Bary and resided in Ash Grove during the early years of her life graduating from Ash Grove High School in 1959.
After high school Allene attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, and then worked as an illustrator at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri. During her long career as a writer and commercial artist, Allene lived in Washington state, Germany, Washington D.C., Oklahoma and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles Cooper. Allene is survived by many cousins including David, Kathy, John and Sandra Bary, LaRoy and Carl Gardner, Rebecca Cunningham, Nancy Sarcoxie, Susan Becker, Mary Claxton and Carolyn Sinquefield.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Ash Grove Health Care Facility for the care and comfort provided to Allene during the last several months.
Internment will be 10:00AM, Friday, August 17, 2018, at Ash Grove Cemetery alongside her parents and late husband.
