Obituary

Andree` M. Lesher was born in France on July 28, 1925 to Felix and Mary Louise Cantin.  She lost her father at age 2 and her mother at age 7.

She was raised and educated at a French Covent that was operate by the French Navy until the age of 18.

She married Charles Lewis Lesher in 1945 while he was serving in the US Army, stationed in Paris.  Their first daughter Yolande was born in France.

In 1947 they came to the United States and in 1950 they moved to Springfield.

She was an excellent cook, seamstress, and homemaker, making a lovely home for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2011, her son in law, Roger in 2005.

She is survived by two daughters, Yolande of Springfield and Edie Carroll and husband Jerry of Golden, MO; one grandson, Justin Knauer of Portland, OR; great grandson, Allen Knauer also of Portland; one granddaughter, Tanya McFarlin and her husband Larry of Springfield.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 1:00PM-2:00PM in the church hall of St. John's Episcopal Church, 515 E. Division, Springfield, MO.  Graveside services will be 2:30 PM, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The Kitchen and/or to The Victory Mission and may be mailed to Wilson-Griffin Funeral Homes, PO Box 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
