Obituary

Andrew Dean "Andy" Terrell, 87, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born on August 6, 1935, to Mackenley and Wana (Friar) Terrell. On August 19, 1961, Andy and Marilyn Hunnicutt were united in marriage and shared over 61 years together.

Andy was the "Catfish Man" and was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing the Turnback and Sac River and enjoyed crappie fishing at Stockton and Table Rock Lake. Andy also enjoyed hunting coyote, deer, and quail.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Andy is survived by his wife, Marilyn Terrell of the home; son, Mark Terrell and wife Kimberly of Ozark, grandson, Cody Terrell of Owasso, OK, granddaughter, Callie Terrell of Ozark; twin brother, Gene Terrell and wife Glenda of Knob Noster; other family and many friends.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Loreva Grantham, Lolita Williams; infant twin brothers, Teddie and Weddie.

Visitation will be 1:00PM – until service time, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Funeral services will be gin at 2:00PM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or The Least of These- Food Pantry" and can be left at the funeral home.
