Anna Lee Grant, 93, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, September 08, 2016. Anna was born June 15, 1923 in Morrisville, MO, the daughter of Weldon Boyd and Dazel (Willey) Boyd.

She was united in marriage to Murrell E. Grant on October 10, 1946. Together, they were privileged to share 67 years. Murrell preceded her in death on September 5, 2014.

Anna was the caretaker of her family. She loved cooking and always kept an immaculate home. Anna enjoyed her time in the kitchen. She always had cakes, pies, and cookies around, and would make large batches at a time to ensure that there was always enough. Anna loved cooking large meals and only cooked meals that her mother had cooked. She enjoyed Sunday family dinners. One of Anna's specialties was ham that she cured herself. Her family enjoyed it at Christmas breakfast for over 30 years. Anna also had a love of birds. When Anna wasn't home she was traveling internationally with her family or touring with the Model T Club. Anna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Anna is survived by one son, Ken Grant of Springfield, MO; two grandsons, Kelsey Grant and Jeffrey Grant both of Springfield, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Walnut Grove, MO. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM, prior to the service, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
