In loving memory of Anne Hudgings, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 24, 2021, at the age of 82. Anne was born on October 20, 1939, in Springfield, Missouri. She and her identical twin sister, Joan, were graduates of Parkview High School, Class of 1957. Shortly after, the sisters attended Southwest Missouri State University together, before Anne married her husband, H.N. in the fall of 1961. The happy couple enjoyed the early years of marriage by traveling before they had two daughters, Joni and Leigh Anne. The family settled in Ash Grove, Missouri in the early 1980s where Anne lived the remainder of her life.

Anne was known as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She dearly loved to travel, attend the theatre and various sporting events. Anne was an avid card player, particularly fond of bridge. She was very active in Ash Grove Sunshine Center and enjoyed volunteering at church.

Anne played a large role in the lives of everyone she loved. She radiated warmth and acceptance towards others. She valued forgiveness and growth, always sharing how proud and happy she was for others. She was known to say, "age is just a number" and lived her life as such, never letting obstacles get in her way. She will be dearly missed, but the memory of her will remain through the endless stories shared through loved ones. She was more than family to most, she was everyone's best friend, their biggest support system, and their shoulder to cry on. Anne will be dearly missed.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband H.N. of 61 years. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters Joni (Johnny) and Leigh Anne (Jay), and a cherished grandmother to her three grandchildren, Dennis, JoJo, and Micki, and her great granddaughter, Vanessa. She was a loving aunt to Tommy, Trish, John and Bill and their children.

Anne is preceded in death by her parents and twin sister, Joan.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday November 27, 2021, at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, Missouri.
