Anthony Lyn Wester, age 74, of Willard, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at The Manor at Elfindale in Springfield, Missouri.

Tony was born on February 13, 1952, to George and Christine (McCroskey) Wester.

He graduated from Willard High School in 1970 and spent his working years at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

He was also a member of Gate of The Temple Lodge & Abou Ben Ahdem Shrine Temple in Springfield, MO.

Tony had a big personality, a deep love of music, and was an avid traveler, all of which were unmistakably part of who he was.

The center of his life was his wife, Debra Darlene (Pearce) Wester, his wife of over 53 years.

Her passing last year was a profound loss for Tony, and the life they built together remained deeply important to him.

He is survived by his son, Zeph Wester and wife Jean; beloved French bulldog Pixie; along with extended family and close friends who will remember Tony in their own way and with their own stories.

A service celebrating Tony’s life will be held at 10:00AM on September 15th at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove, Missouri.
