Barbara June Dotson, 79, of Willard, went to her Heavenly home, Monday, January 23, 2023. She was born in Springfield, MO on June 9, 1943, to Clarence and Juanita (Dixon) Franks. On August 1, 1970, Barbara married the love of her life, Delmar Dale Dotson. They shared over 37 years together, before Dale's passing in 2007.

To know Barbara was to love her. She was an active member of Eudora Baptist Church, playing the piano, helping with outreach, and was a servant leader in all she did. Barbara was always positive, even signing her name with a smiley face, and could find the silver lining in every situation. She loved to tell a good story and Dale would sometimes have to hit "the pause button", just so he could get a word in. She loved her birds and flowers, but nothing compared to the love that she had for her friends and family.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kent Dotson, Kevin Dotson and wife Rebecca D., Sandy Martinsen, Scott Martinsen and wife Belinda, Kristen Dotson; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Linda Zweerink and husband Darrell, Trish Glenn, Debara Tobin and husband John, Bob Franks and wife Kathryn; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Juanita Franks; husband, Dale Dotson; and brother-in-law, Jim Glenn.

Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Eudora Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Eudora Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 3:00PM, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Cabool Cemetery.

At mom's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eudora Baptist Church and can be left with the funeral home. Please and Thank You. 😊
