Barbara Green, 80 of Ash Grove, passed away, Monday, January 11, 2021.  She was born on December 14, 1940, in Sampson, MO to Howard and Helen (Mathis) Vance. On May 20, 1961, Barbara and Clarence Green were united in marriage and shared over 59 years together.

Barbara enjoyed reading, embroidery work, and traveling. Barbara also enjoyed her collection of cardinals and Santas. Above all, Barbara adored her family. She was the matriarch of the family and enjoyed her family getting together at least once a month to celebrate birthdays. Barbara loved having all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren around. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her husband Clarence Green of the home; daughters, Rhonda Barnett and husband David of Willard, Tammy Johnson and husband DuWayne of Springfield, Kathy Green and fiancé Keith Waters of AR, Pam Long and husband Darrell of Branson; grandchildren, Rachel Barnett, Nathan Barnett, Michelle Kenning and husband Nathan, Trista Grant and husband Nathan, Erin Morton and husband Chris, Pettra Stockton and husband Ethan, Donavan Smith; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; other family and many friends.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM, at the funeral home with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to donor's choice, in Barbara's name.
