Barbara Marie (Long) Yocom, 77, of Walnut Grove, passed away at 12:55 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

Barbara, the daughter of Joseph and Blanch Marie (Porter) Long, was born in Wentworth, MO, on May 13, 1941. Barbara and Kenneth Yocom were united in marriage on June 25, 1965. They shared over 53 years together.

Barbara was a life-long area resident. She graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1960. Barbara enjoyed cooking, playing slot machines, and always winning. She loved her family and friends. Barbara will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Kenneth of the home; children, Tommie Linn Yocom and wife Melanie of Walnut Grove, Ed Yocom and wife Mindy of Aldrich; grandchildren, Danny Yocom and wife Delaney, Katie Richardson, and husband Dusty, Nick Yocom, Becky Yocom; step-grandchildren, Amanda Cooper, Tyler Allen, Megan Smith and husband Dusty; great grandchildren, Juniper, Asher, Sadie, Sawyer, Grace, Ossie, Ricky, Bethany, Ayrianna, Harley, Jackie; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina Maria Yocom; 5 brothers, and 6 sisters.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral services will be 1:00PM, Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
