Barbara Ann Kelley Yocom, 82, of Walnut Grove, MO, passed away, Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Barbara was born on October 29, 1935 to Harold and Lorayne (Slagle) Kelley. She grew up in the Harold community, attending school there until eighth grade and went on to graduate from Walnut Grove High School in 1953. In April of 1954 Barbara married Charles Yocom and to this union 4 children were born.

Barbara worked in quality control at Litton for 23 years. She loved cooking brownies and taking them to her coworkers.
Barbara loved to sew and crochet making lots of gifts for others to treasure. She became, as we all know her by, Nanny Barb, when her first grandchild was born. Nanny Barb took care of many children in the nursery for 35 years at Harold Baptist Church where she was a member and baptized August 19, 1945.

Barbara is survived by her children, Stephen Charles Yocom and wife Sharman of Ozark, Susan Adams and husband Arnie of Ash Grove, David Yocom and wife Tina of Walnut Grove, Howard Yocom and wife Kim of Ash Grove; grandchildren, Stephen Allen and Tessa Yocom, Chrissi Robinson and fiancé Tyler Ferwalt, Joshua and Amanda McPhail, Jennifer Yocom, Melissa and Shane Nations, Mindy Yocom, Jodie Yocom, Mollie and Justin Tennis, Tiffany Yocom and Eli, Emily and Brad Willis, Daniel Yocom and fiancé Chauncie Clark, Krista and Paul Jeffreys, Chad Adams; great grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Kooper, Megan, Gavin, Hunter, Noah, Andrew, Jayce, Mayce, Bristol, Gracelynn (Gracie), Braylee, Brayden, Brielle, Gio, Omari, Cheyanne, Annastacia, Aleksandra, Nicholas, Wesley, Brock, Kezia, and another on the way; sisters, Rose Marie (Dutch) Abbott, Pat Kelley; brothers, Garry and Jana Kelley and Larry and Pat Kelley; sister-in-law, Janette (Tootie) Kelley; uncle Gene Engledow, who turned 105 on October 7th; nieces, nephews, cousins; other family and many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Harold Kelley; and brother-in-law, Jim Abbott.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 6:00PM -8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Ash Grove Health Care Auxiliary and may be left at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Ash Grove Nursing Home for all the love and care provided to our mother the last 13 years and being such an amazing extended family over the years. Also, thank you to CMH Hospice for their care in her last days.
