Betty Lou Cummins, 88, of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Betty the daughter of Herbert and Nema (Hammontree) Killingsworth, was born in Walnut Grove, MO, on February 25, 1930. On March 17, 1951 Betty and Robert W. Cummins were united in marriage and to this union three children were born. Betty and Bob shared over 52 years together before Bob's passing in 2003.

Betty loved her church and church family. She was active in Vacation Bible School, the nursery, WMU, library, kitchen, and the children's ministry. Betty's love for children also carried over to her career. She spent 25 years working in childcare in her home. Her love for the children that she cared for left a life-long impact on Betty and them. Betty adored her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her son, Tim Cummins and wife Stephanie; daughters, Pam Brooks and husband Marshall (Mark), Lisa Kowalski and husband Peter; 6 grandchildren, Nick Cummins, Steve Cummins, Aaron Brooks and wife Lisa, Lyndsey Comer and husband Nate, Brian Kowalski, Laura Kowalski; 3 great grandchildren, Breckin Gardner, Alexis McGee, Ajia Cummins; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Lon Killingsworth; and sister Wilma Abbott.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 from noon-service time at Willard First Baptist Church, Willard, MO. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00PM, at the church, with burial to follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Betty's name to Children's Ministry of Willard First Baptist and may be left at the funeral home.
