Betty R. Lowry, 68, of Walnut Grove, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

She was born June 24, 1954, to Herbert and Wilma (Holder) Lowry.

Betty enjoyed playing games, such as Bingo, cooking classes, doing arts and crafts and coloring. Her favorite color was purple. Betty loved watching gameshows and football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. Betty was the best pen-pal and loved writing letters to her family and friends. She also loved her Hollywood movie stars. Betty liked getting her hair and nails done and just being glamourous. Betty was limited in life due to her mental illness, but she loved the Lord and is finally free.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Lowry; sister-in-law, Edith Lowry.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Tracey Gillespie and husband Deron, Stacy Nolen; 6 grandchildren; brother, Roger Lowry; nephew, Jon Lowry and wife Heather; other family and friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Wheeler Cemetery, Walnut Grove with Pastor Deron Gillespie officiating.
