Betty Jean (Woods) Norman, 82, of Willard, passed away Saturday August 29, 2015 in the Fremont in Springfield, Mo.

Betty, the daughter of Louis E. And Barbara Oletha (Brooks) Woods, was born September 19, 1932 in the Bois D' Arc area. She was a retired secretary with General Dynamics after 6 years of service. She enjoyed sharing her free time with her family in playing golf, traveling and making her family comfortable, and enjoying preparing their favorite meals. She and Wayne formerly resided in California and Arizona before returning to the Willard area in 2005.

Betty Woods and Wayne W. Norman were united in marriage March 16, 1951. To this union 2 sons were born. Together they were privileged to share over 64 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Norman; two sons: John and Marta Norman of Willard, Mo. and Robert Norman and wife Michelle of Hemet, California; five grandchildren: John Livingston, Dorothy Dahman, John Cole Norman, Jacob Aaron Norman, and Eli Garrett Norman; and four great-grandsons; and a sister, Lois Coon of Ontario, California.

A celebration of Life Service will be at a later time for family and close friends. Cremation was conducted under the care and direction of Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home of Ash Grove.
