Betty Olzak, 93 of Ash Grove passed away on Sunday evening, April 5, 2015 in Springfield Rehabilitation Health Care Center following a short illness.
Betty was born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. She grew up in the area and was a graduate of
New Brighton High School in 1940. She was a Chef in Las Vegas for many years and catered
in the homes for several stars. Betty and her family moved to the Ash Grove several years ago. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Betty and Marion T. Olzak were united in marriage, September 29, 1945. To this union 3 children were born. Together they were privileged to share over 51 years. Marion preceded her
in death January 4, 1997. Also, preceding her in death was her brother, Robert Circle.
She is survived by her loving family: Son, Thomas and wife Karen Olzak of Pomona, California and 2 daughters: Sandy Evans of Ash Grove, Mo. and Deborah Allen of Everton, Mo.; five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Family Memorial Services will be held in the Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel, Ash Grove with Betty's grandson Joshua Allen giving the eulogy. Inurnment will follow in the Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, Mo.
