Beverly Sue Johnson, 86, of Everton, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025.  She was born October 26, 1939, in Everton, MO to John and Thelma (Martin) Hays. On November 16, 1957, Beverly and Larry Johnson were united in marriage and shared over 47 years together, before Larry's passing in 2004.

Beverly was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Everton High School in 1957. She lovingly raised her family and worked for Willard School District for over 25 years as a cook. Beverly was creative and enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, cooking, and sewing. She also enjoyed working outside, gardening, and had earned the nickname "Pyro-Granny," for her love of burning things. Beverly will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beverly is survived by daughter, Ronda Clark; grandchildren, Tiffany Parrish and husband Steven, Karen Marsh, William Johnson, Chris Keeton and wife Christie, Angela Schletzbaum and husband Tom, Kevin Clark and wife Shawnna, Becky Keele and husband Randy, Julie Keele; great grandchildren, Caden Galbraith, Skyler Parrish, Gabe Marsh, Nicholas Marsh; many other great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Greta Hays; many nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.

Beverly is preceded in death by parents, John and Thelma Hays; husband, Larry Johnson; son, Allen Johnson; brother, Martin Hays; son-in-law, Lonnie Clark; and great grandson, Joseph "Cord" Schletzbaum.

Visitation will be 10:00AM until service times, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Everton Community Church and may be left with the funeral home.
