Beverly S. McCowan, 67, of Springfield, passed away, Friday, February 14, 2020. She was born November 1, 1952 in Springfield, MO to Albert and Ida Mae (Pridgen) Herbert. On April 5, 2008, Beverly and Kim McCowan were united in marriage and shared over 11 years together.

Beverly enjoyed watching scary movies, music, entertaining, and celebrating the holidays. She was devoted to her family. They were her number one priority and she loved going to their ballgames. She adored her grandbabies and they affectionately called her MeMaw. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Kim McCowan of the home; children, Eric Jameson and wife Laura, Brian Jameson and wife Brandy, Chad Jameson and wife Christina; step-children, Scott McCowan and wife Renee, Justin McCowan and wife Clarisse, Kody McCowan and wife Katie; grandchildren, Emily, Fallon, Abel, Carson, Brayden, Bryson, Taylor, Gracie; step grandchildren, Dakota, Makayla, Lakiah, Parker, Raegan, Moses, Kimberlyn, Kassidy, Kortney, Nichole, Barbara; step-mother, Linda Herbert; brothers, Kenny Herbert, Keith Herbert and partner Bryen Reed; sister, Cathy Hill and husband Stephen; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ida Mae Herbert; and son, Kevin E. Jameson.

Visitation will be, Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Willard First Baptist Church, Willard, MO. Funeral services will be, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00AM, at the church, with burial to follow at White Chapel Cemetery.
