B.F. "Frank" King, 100, of Ash Grove, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018.

Frank was born on August 23, 1917 to Charley and Bernice (Killingsworth) King, in Ash Grove, MO.  On November 18, 1961, Frank and Ellen Fesus were united in marriage; they shared over 38 years together, before Ellen's passing in 2000.

Frank was an Ash Grove High School graduate and then faithfully served in the United States Army during WWII.  He spent over 35 years working in San Diego in an air craft factory.  He was one of the first to build the B-24 bombers.  Frank was a life-long learner.  He enjoyed building things with his hands, creating woodwork, reading encyclopedias, teaching himself new things like, geometry, and once his eye sight failed, he still loved to listen to learn about all the new things around him.   He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Frank is survived by his niece, Cindy Doran and husband Gene; nephew Steven King all of Ash Grove; great nephew, Charlie King and fiancé Courtnie; 3 great nieces, Kelli Tuter and husband Kenny, Jessica Doran, Katie Doran; sister-in-law, Pauline King; special friend, Brenda Ellsworth; other family and many friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife; child, Hubert; siblings, William, Chester, Jane.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.  Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Franks name to PBS and may be left at the funeral home.
