Bobby Lee Kerr, 54 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023. Bobby was born on October 29, 1969, in Republic, MO to Donald "Roy" and Vivian (Cahoon) Kerr.

Bobby faithfully served in the United States Navy during Dessert Storm. He used his charm hitting on waitresses and nurses. Bobby enjoyed camping and was a big motorhead. He loved going to car shows on Glenstone and doing donuts in the K-Mart parking lot when it snowed. Above all, Bobby loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. They loved when he would pull them behind the boat. Bobby will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his children, Bobbie Jo Kerr, Jesse Kerr and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Addi Kindred, Paisley, Everlee and Briley Watson; sisters, Katrina Williams and husband Dan, Tracy Kerr, other family and many friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lance Kerr.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until noon on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be at 1:30PM, Friday, November 10, 2023, at Batson Memorial Cemetery, Halltown, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and may be left at the funeral home.
