Bobby Joe Stafford, 65, of Ash Grove, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Bobby, the son of Robert Franklin (Joe) and Pearline (Burns) Stafford, was born in Bolivar, MO, on September 20, 1952. On May 2, 1976, Bobby and Jeri Kaye Davis were married and together they shared over 42 years together.

Bobby was a United States Army Veteran and faithfully served during the Vietnam War. Bobby enjoyed the outdoors and all that it had to offer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Bobby grew a garden and loved giving away his bounty to others. He also enjoyed Cardinal baseball. Bobby loved his family and friends and being able to spend time with them all. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Jeri Stafford of the home; children, Bobby Joe Stafford II of Ash Grove, Brandon Stafford of Ash Grove, Marissa Bowers of Blue Eye, Chelsea Stafford of Springfield, Bethany Stafford of Republic; daughter/granddaughter, Kaitlyn Stafford of the home; grandchildren, Kayley Stafford, Emily Stafford, Jalee Stafford, Hunter Stafford, Jolee Stafford, Alexis Bowers, Tristan Bowers, Caleb Mabary, Addison Mayberry, Adam Hayden Miller; 1 great grandchild on the way; siblings, Ruby Goodman of OR, Ray Stafford and wife Gail of MT, Mary Lou Ballard of OR, Rosie Johnson of Arcola, Pearl Metzker and husband Randy of OR, Wanda Markle and husband Ron of OR, Kathy Goodman and husband Mark of Springfield; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Michael Bowers; sister, Sharon Neal; and brother, Donald Stafford.

Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 10:00AM, at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Bobby's name to Oxford Hospice and may be left at the funeral home.
