Brenda Rae Moore,75, passed away Friday morning, April 15, 2016 at 2:21 a.m. in the Ash Grove Health Care Center, following an extended illness.
Brenda, the daughter of Joseph Wilson and Florence Rachel (Jones) Ingram, was born January 17, 1941. She was born in Harrison, Arkansas, and was a lifelong resident of the Ash Grove area. Growing up in Ash Grove,
she graduated from Ash Grove High School in 1958. Brenda was a U.S. Postal Clerk with the Ash Grove Post Office, retiring after 33 years of service.
Brenda and Charles W. Moore were united in marriage on June 6, 1959.
To this union two children were born. Together, Brenda and Charles were privileged to share over forty-six years. Charles preceded her
in death in November of 2005, also preceding her were her parents,
brother, Johnny Ingram and nephew, Bradley Ingram.
Brenda is survived by her loving family: son, Charlton R. and wife Lacy Moore of Ash Grove; daughter, Donnetta and husband Donnie MacDonald of Golden, Colo.; five grandchildren: Ashley. Jesse and Uriah Moore, Sidney and Sora MacDonald; brother, Bobby and wife Aletha Ingram of Ash Grove; niece, Beth Stacey and nephew, Larry Ingram.
Services will be held Tuesday morning, 10:30 a.m. in Wilson Brim Daniel
Chapel, Ash Grove with Rev. Bill Havens officiating with interment following in Sinking Creek Cemetery, east of Everton, Mo.
Family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening in the funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions may be given, in her memory, to The Project Fund at the Ash Grove Health Care Facility.
