Calvin Coolidge Crase 98 of Ash Grove passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1925, in Blogett, MO to George Duran and Ella (Cantrell) Crase. On January 16, 1945, Calvin and Florence Marie were united in marriage and to this union three children were born. After Florence passed away, Calvin married Betty Smith on October 26, 1990.

Calvin faithfully served in the United States Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1946. He enjoyed working as a painter and was often even painting things in his own house. Calvin enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the movies with his daughter, and he rarely missed a WWE match on Monday and Friday evenings.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Calvin was preceded in death by his wife Florence Crase; wife, Betty Crase; 7 siblings; and nephew, Glen Crase.

Calvin is survived by his children, Ron Crase, Jeff Crase and wife Cindy, Kim Lewellin; step-daughters, Brenda Ellsworth, Beverly Thomas; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Memorial graveside services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Ray Springs Cemetery, Everton, MO.
