Carl Dean Rogers, the son of Ed and Vivian (Warden) Rogers, was born
April 6, 1938 in Springfield, Mo. and passed away Friday morning, May
13, 2016 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo. His age was 78 years l month and 7 days.

Carl was a lifelong resident of the Morrisville and Willard Mo. areas. He was a graduate of Marion C. Early High School in 1956. He
retired from Paul Mueller and Company after 31 years of service. He
was an Army Veteran, and longtime and faithful member of the Eudora Baptist Church.

Carl Rogers and his first wife Judy were united in marriage, October 30, 1957. To this union four children were born. Together they were
privileged to share thirty years. She preceded him in death on September 15, 1987. Carl and Ann (Stephens) Holmes were united in marriage on April 7, 1990. Together they have shared over twenty-five years. Also, preceding him in death were his parents, infant brother, Benny Rogers and two sisters: Joan Hall and Norma Gunn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann of the home; four children: Carol Ann and husband Kevin Kahler, Alan and wife Sondra Rogers, all of Morrisville, Mo., Jill Rosell of Springfield, Mo. and Elizabeth "Beth" and husband Jason Stewart of Bolivar, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two step-sons: Bret and wife Stacy Holmes of Forsyth, Mo. and Scott Holmes of Everton, Mo.; three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Eudora Baptist Church with Rev. Jim White officiating with interment following in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Mo. under the care and direction of Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time on
Monday in the church.
