Charles Edward Garrison, 87, of Walnut Grove, MO passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. He was born on December 3, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Walter P. and Letha (Clark) Garrison.

On July 23, 1951, Charles was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Dotson and they shared over sixty-five years of love and laughter together before Gwen's passing in 2016.

Charles and Gwen were a team and adored one another. Together with their children, they enjoyed camping and fishing. Charles always said the potatoes and onions tasted better when they were cooked outdoors. Charles was a faithful member of Oak Grove/Flint Hill Community Church. He was an elder and a faithful and dedicated servant of the Lord. Charles' family and friends find peace that he and Gwen are now together in Heaven.
Charles is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Love of Springfield; one son Chuck Garrison and wife Lupe of NM; three grandchildren, Alexa, Rick, and Jonathan Garrison; and numerous family and friends

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen; one son, Larry Garrison; 1 brother and 5 sisters.

Memorial contributions can be made to Oak Grove Church and may be left at the funeral home.
