Charles T. Gugel, 85, of Willard, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born on January 1, 1937, to Francis and Mabel (Kitchen) Gugel. On June 4, 1973, Charles and Sharon Allhands were united in marriage and shared over 49 years together.

Charles was the bus supervisor for Willard School District for over 23 years. He enjoyed birds and cardinals were his favorite, but he also enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals. Charles loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Above all, Charles loved Christ and wanted His love to shine through him.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sharon Gugel; son, Martin Gugel and wife Tracy; grandchildren, Hayden, Riley, Matthew; siblings, Jim Gugel, John Gugel, Edith Reed, Richard Gugel, Michael Gugel, Sam Gugel, Wayne Gugel; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mabel Gugel and sister, Alice Lowery.

Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's' Association in Charles' name.
