Charlotte Ann Steely, 83, of Springfield passed away, on Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Charlotte the daughter of Earl M. and Rena (Albert) Clark, was born in Springfield, MO, on October, 16, 1933.  Charlotte married Thayne Steely on February 20, 1955, they enjoyed 55 years together before Thayne's passing in 2010.

Charlotte graduated from Marion C. Early High School in 1952.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed cross-stitch and gardening.   Later in life, she also enjoyed adult coloring books.  Charlotte loved to watch old movies, and westerns were her favorites.  Charlotte knew a card or letter to family and friends could be a blessing on any day and she enjoyed sending them often.   She was particularly fond of her church family and the fellowship there.  Charlotte will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Christopher Cooper; sister, Jean McCroskey; and brother-in-law, Alfred McCroskey.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Terry T. Steely and spouse Katy, Cheryl Cooper, Stacy Steely and spouse Kim Moon; grandchildren, Ryan Steely and spouse Mandy, Rena Harding and spouse Dustin, William Steely, Corey Palmer; great-grandchildren, Jameson Steely, Cyrus Harding, Bella Harding; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 6:00PM-8:00PM in the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Funeral services will be Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00AM, in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Willard, MO.
