Dallas Patrick Dodson, 72 of Willard, passed away, Thursday, December 31, 2020.  He was born on January 10, 1948 to Roscoe "Rocky" and Mildred "Mickey" (Wallace) Dodson. On January 27, 1967, Dallas and Barbara Cowart were united in marriage and shared over 53 years together.

Dallas was a lifelong area resident graduating from Ash Grove High School. Dallas went on to work for and retire from BNSF Railroad.  Dallas enjoyed RV camping, fishing, hunting, Cardinals baseball, working in his yard, and black powder shooting. He was always tinkering with something. Dallas will be fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved him.

Dallas is survived by his wife, Barbara Dodson; daughter, LaDonna Hansen and husband Kurt; daughter-in-law, Stacy Dodson; grandchildren, Justin Hansen and wife Mariah, Dylan Dodson and wife Jaida, Spencer Dodson; great grandchildren, Mason Dodson, McKinley Dodson and baby girl Hansen on the way; brothers, Douglas Dodson and wife Robbie, Dwight Dodson and wife Susan, Duane Dodson; other family and many friends.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Rocky and Mickey Dodson; son, Christopher "Chris" Dodson; and brother, Dennis Dodson.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM-7:00PM, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery, Willard, MO. The family requests that all visitors wear masks and social distance.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Dallas' name to My Final Chapter and may be left at the funeral home. My Final Chapter is a local organization that works with adults with cancer and helping grant a final wish.
