Danny R. Comer, 93, of Ash Grove, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.  He was born May 31, 1932, in Greene County, MO to Joseph and Lanova (Cotter). On September 22, 1951, Danny and Helen Jenkins were united in marriage and shared over 74 years together.

Danny was a worker and had many different jobs throughout his adult life. Some of his favorites were working for the sheriff in Lawrence County, transporting prisoners, and working as a bailiff. He retired as a heating and air mechanic. During many of these years he and Helen also had a 250-acre farm to care for. He enjoyed keeping busy.

Danny is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Steve Comer and wife Neva, Brenda Cox and husband Chuck; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great child and 1 on the way; other family, and many friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Jospeh and Lanova Comer; brothers, John, Wayne, Jr., and Bill.
