Danny Keith Decker passed away February 22, 2023, at Cox South Hospital after a short illness. Danny was the son of Amon and Reva Decker from Thayer, Missouri.

Danny hired on in 1973 with Frisco, which later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a brakeman, conductor and finished his career as a locomotive engineer.

Danny and Brenda Willoughby Decker were united in marriage on March 14, 1975. To this union two daughters were born, Katrina Viau and Katrisha Simmons. Six grandchildren were his joy: Easton and Stormy Spickard, Victoria and Alexandria Simmons, Dorothy and Matthew Viau.

Danny is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Katrina and husband Mike Viau of Florida and Katrisha and husband Carroll Simmons of Walnut Grove; and sister, Norma Johnson.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Amon and Reva Decker; brother, Glen Dale Allen; sister, Marcia Brown; and niece and nephew, Pam and Dale Johnson.

Danny had nieces and nephews: Jack, Todd, Delisa, Lori, Julie, Christopher and Jan. Danny had three fur babies named Anna, Moder, and Bella. If you knew him you heard many stories of his beloved brown eyed girls.

Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM, Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Private graveside services will be held at Greene Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Carpenter's House Church and may be left at the funeral home.
