Darla Kaye (Zinser) Goetz, 56 of Walnut Grove, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. She was born on August 26, 1967, in Springfield, Missouri, to Jack Zinser and Mitzi Smith.

Darla was a CNA with CMH and was loved by all. She was currently working on her dream of opening a food truck. Darla enjoyed cooking, painting, drawing, and dancing. She also loved Halloween or any excuse to dress up. She also enjoyed planting gardens and loved roses, or anything pink and purple. Darla absolutely loved her grandchildren and spending all the time she could with them.  She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Darla is survived by her children, Michael Zinser, Zoila Lopez, Josie Block, Julia Block; many grandchildren; father, Jack Zinser and wife Brenda; brother, Robert Slaughter; other family and friends.

Darla is preceded in death by her mother, Mitzi (Smith) Slaughter and son, Carlos Lopez.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM-6:00PM, Friday, September 6, 2024 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. A memorial service will begin at 6:00PM at the funeral home.
