September 6, 1933 – February 28, 2021
Darrell Irwin Haun 87, of Bellevue Nebraska, passed away February 28, 2021. Darrell was the son of Elizabeth and Eugene Haun and was born September 6, 1933.
Darrell proudly joined the U.S. Army, and served in Germany and in the U.S. in the Heavy Field Artillery. He was exceptional in welding and was certified to weld Stainless Steel and Aluminum. He was one of only three people in the state of Missouri to hold both certifications at that time.
Darrell also loved to fish and did so anytime he could. He was well known as a great fisherman.
Darrell is survived by five sisters: Clara Faulkner of Bellevue, NE, Karen Haun of Springfield, MO, Barbara Hood of Mount Vernon, MO, Pam Haun of Marshfield, MO, Glenda McLelland of Elkland, MO; Stepdaughter
Judy Marble of Springfield, MO. Also, several nieces and nephew residing in Nebraska, Missouri, and Texas.
He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth; father, Eugene; brothers, Junior, Donald and Albert; and a sister, Mary Jane.
Memorial Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
