Dayten Meche "D" White lived in Ash Grove, Missouri. Born August 11 th , 2005 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, there was endless potential left in his life, but God had other plans when he unexpectedly called him upstairs 14 years later on June 12 th , 2020. He was exceptionally smart and considerate to others. He excelled at any sport, game, or subject that caught his interest. Dayten loved football more than anything and aspired to become a great player. He enjoyed playing games on any gaming platform he could get his hands on and could soak up endless information about anything that captivated his brilliant imagination. Exploring outdoors, hunting, and fishing were some of his favorite past times that he did not have nearly enough time to appreciate.

Dayten White is survived by his mother, Ashley Naylor; his grandmother, Shawnah Lehr; his grandfather, Raymond Gomez; his aunts and uncles, Felica and Chris Hollabough, Leah and Jose Wood, Shelby and Cole Booth, Matt Gomez, Brandon Gomez, Shawn Lehr, and Missy White.

It seems unfair when God calls some of us home so early but Dayten would want each person in mourning to hold their heads up and look at the life they have before them. He would want you to be happy, enjoy the moments you have with the ones you love, and think of others as much or more than you think of yourself. His kind and respectful heart will not be forgotten in this world and each person that has come in contact with Dayten has had their lives forever be changed for the better by having known him. Instead of remaining grounded, hurting, and confused, D is now looking over us all, sharing his smile, compassion, and adoration no matter where we are.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove. His visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2020, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A candlelight prayer service will take place at 8:00PM, at the conclusion of the visitation, outside of the funeral home. All are welcome to attend. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Ash Grove Assembly of God.
