Debra K. Arthur, 55, of Willard, MO passed away Friday, September 02, 2016. She died peacefully in her home, after a long illness. Debra was born August 23, 1961 in Springfield, MO, the daughter of Jack Wayne Joplin and Glenda (Woods) Joplin.

She was united in marriage to Don "Bud" Arthur on March 14, 1980. Together, they were privileged to share the last 36 years.

Debra enjoyed planting flowers, watching the humming birds, and painting. She loved listening to rock and roll music and was not a fan when she got into the truck and someone had left it on a country station. Debra loved the time spent with family, but nothing compared to her time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and each held a special place in her heart. She was always surrounded by her family who she loved so much.

Debra is survived by her husband, Don "Bud" Arthur, of the home; one daughter, Jaime Arthur of Springfield, MO; one son, Donald "Bub" Arthur and wife Rosene of Willard, MO; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Arthur, Devin Arthur, Jordan Heiserman, Megan Heiserman, Dereck Arthur; mother, Glenda Joplin; father-in-law, Don Arthur Sr,; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Debra is preceded in death by her father, Jack Joplin; one brother, Mark Joplin; and her mother-in-law and dear friend, Peggy Arthur.

The family will have a graveside service that will be held at 3:00PM on September 17th, at Eudora Cemetery, for family and friends that wish to attend.
