Debra Ann Hardison, 62 of Springfield passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. She was born August 23, 1958, in Riverside, CA to Robert Eugene and Diana Lea (McMurray) Hardison.
Debbie was an entrepreneur and advocate to the core. She had been the owner/operator of Sub Shop on Seminole in Springfield, started It's a Deli in Fort Walton, FL, and most recently opened Sail Works, a marine fabricator, in Stockton. In between the times of owning and operating businesses, Debbie was working as a patient advocate. She had worked for Mercy Hospital for many years and Integrity Care. Debbie held many talents and hobbies; baking, gardening, music, and the love of all outdoors. A true believer in Jesus Christ, active in the church, and studies. It is hard to list all of her talents and the number of lives she has impacted in a positive way. She will be missed.
Debbie is survived by her fiancé, Robert Thomson; brother, Stephen Hardison and wife Sherry; sister-in-law, Nancy Hardison; sister, Connie Anderson and husband Mark; many nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Diana Hardison and brother, Curtis Scott Hardison
Visitation will be 1:00PM-2:00PM, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Graveside services will be 2:30PM, Friday, July 2, 2021, at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Debbie's name to St. Jude's or Convoy of Hope and may be left at the funeral home.
