Dennis Ray Hilburn 67, of Walnut Grove, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. He was born on August 8, 1956 in Springfield, MO to James Levelle and Pearl Almos (Gibson) Hilburn.

Dennis was a prankster and loved a good ghost story. He also enjoyed westerns and the St. Louis Cardinals. Above all, Dennis had a perpetual love for his family. He was an amazing Bopo to all his grandkids.

Dennis is survived by his children, Jennifer Tolbert, Shawna Coots and husband Josh, Sabrina Gilkey; grandchildren, Brea Muir, Gauge Blake, Brittany Tolbert, Wyatt Blake, Hunter Gilkey, Faith Gilkey, Dennise Tolbert; great grandson, Cash; partner, Rhonda Jackson; siblings, David Hilburn, Karen Hilburn, Larry Hilburn, Missy Tindle; nephews and nieces, other family and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Doloras, Billy Jo, Eddie, Bobby, Ernie, Connie Jo, Rod, and Donna.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Friday, December 15, 2023, at Bellview Cemetery, Springfield, MO
