Farnham Jr.

Derward "Al" Farnham, Jr., 86, passed away, Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
Al the son of Derward A and Bridie (O'Shea) Farnham, was born in Milo, ME, on July 23, 1931. On December 2, 1951 Al and Geraldine (Dutton) were united in marriage. Together they shared 49 years together before Geraldine's passing in 2000.
Al faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force, for 4 years, during the Korean War. After his time of service Al worked at various industries in Ft. Worth, TX before starting a 30-year career at the Post Office. Al enjoyed spending time outdoors, growing vegetables in his garden. He also enjoyed going to the gym, bowling, and lifting weights. He loved being with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Al will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Al is survived by his children, Richard Farnham and wife Sheila, Mike Farnham and wife Marsha, Linda Brown and husband Paul; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Gail LaPoint; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife; sisters, Gloria Demora, Eileen Gallo, Kathleen Gorneault, Winona Hoyt; and brother, Gailen Farnham.
Graveside services will be 2:00PM, December 18, 2017 at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO. Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to First Baptist Everton Missions Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
