Donald "Roy" Leroy Kerr, of Bois D'Arc, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at the age of 77.

Roy was born on November 29, 1940 to Bobbie Lee and Beulah (Long) Kerr in Springfield, MO.  On October 6, 1960, Roy and Vivian (Cahoon) were united in marriage; together they shared over 57 years.

Roy enjoyed life to the fullest and loved keeping busy, his yellow VW Bug was just a small reflection of the joy he had in his life.  He loved to be outdoors, whether that was cutting wood, having a bonfire, canoeing the White River, camping in Galveston, or spending all day in a boat with a fishing pole in his hand.  Roy also enjoyed his zero turn lawn mower and keeping his lawn manicured.  Roy loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren.  They have many memories to cherish and a favorite is the time they spent riding around in his Subaru Pick-Up, he called "The Brat." He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Roy is survived by his wife, Vivian of the home; children, Katrina Williams and husband Dan of Walnut Grove, Bobby Kerr of Mt. Vernon, Tracy Kerr of Bois D'Arc; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, William Kerr and wife Sherry of Walnut Grove, Larry Kerr and wife Linda of Bois D'Arc, Darrel Kerr and wife Elizabeth of Walnut Grove; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lance Kerr; and grandson, Chase Williams.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Graveside services will be Monday, March 26, 2018 at 1:00PM at Batson Memorial Cemetery, Halltown, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The COPD Foundation and may be left at the funeral home.
