Donna Sue Davis, 84 of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. She was born on May 26, 1940, in Garden City, KS, to Cecil and Ilene (Farmer) Gomez. On September 9, 1961, Donna and Jerry Davis were united in marriage and shared over 57 years together before Jerry's passing in 2018.

Donna was a crafter and loved making things. Her family loved her cooking, especially her cakes and pies. She also loved to sew, quilt, shop, and garden. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Susan Davis; son, Steven Davis; grandchildren, Chris Wasion and wife K'lyn, Christina Ward and husband Gabe, Jennifer Gonzales; great grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, and Jacob Ward, Maria Mercer, Leota Gonzales; sister, Margaret Ann Neal; brother, Robert Gomez; beloved furry friend, Chester; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ilene Gomez; husband, Jerry Davis; daughter-in-law, Tracy Davis; and brother, Roger Gomez.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Friday, August 16, 2024, at Bois D' Arc United Methodist Church. Memorial services will begin at 2:00PM, at the church.
