Dorothy K. Holman, 93 of Walnut Grove, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on February 26, 1928, in Walnut Grove, Missouri to Wesley and Electa (Killingsworth) Creed. On January 19, 1946, Dorothy and Ralph Holman were united in marriage and shared over 58 years together, before Ralph's passing in 2004.

Dorothy was a life-long area resident. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers and helping on the farm. Dorothy also was the postmaster of Walnut Grove and retired after 20 years of service. Dorothy's greatest love was her family. She adored them and loved to cook wonderful meals that were enjoyed by many. Dorothy will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Roger Holman and wife Debbie, Rex Holman and wife Becky; grandchildren, David Dill, Amber Shaw and husband Kyle, Travis Holman and wife Jennifer, Tylan Holman and wife Kristy, Tiffany Durham and husband Calvan; great grandchildren, Grace, Madison, Lane, Drake, Jake, Maeli, Wyatt, Tytus, Nolan; sister, Clara Leeper; other family and friends.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Electa Creed and husband, Ralph Holman.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Monday, December 27, 2021, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove with burial to follow at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Walnut Grove Christian Church and may be left at the funeral home.
