Dorothy Killingsworth, 91, Ash Grove, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Dorothy was born February 27, 1929, the daughter of Cornelius and Martha Naomi (Rudd) Fanning. On June 15, 1968 Dorothy married Bob Killingsworth, together they shared over 26 years together before Bob's passing in 1994.
Dorothy was an active member of Ash Grove Assembly of God and Day Springs Church. She loved the Lord. Dorothy hosted many Hannah's Hours Bible Studies in her home. Dorothy was known for her fine cooking and always being a caring person, putting others before herself. Dorothy was also a Kansas City Royals fan. Dorothy loved her family, she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob Killingsworth; children, Terry L. Moore, Nina J. Pearson, siblings, Les Fanning, Ruth Hansford, Wilma Johnson, Ola Fears, Fannie C. McMillian, JW Fanning.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Annie R. Hudnell; sister, Mary Welch; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other family and friends.
Dorothy will lie in state from 1:00PM-7:00PM, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Ash Grove Assembly of God, Ash Grove, MO. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the church with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
