Ellen Jane Pierpont Guy, age 77, of Willard, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in her lifelong home in Cave Springs, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, Mo. on July 22, 1939, to John and Jessie (McGuire) Pierpont. She, and her brother, John, were raised on the family farm in Cave Springs, near Willard, Mo. Her father was the Sheriff of Greene County. Ellen graduated from Willard High School in 1957 and attended Southwest Missouri State University. Ellen was united in marriage to Garry Guy on February 23, 1968. They had two loving children, Janie White and David Guy. Ellen was a homemaker and farmer most of her life. She and her family spent many years in the agricultural business, raising and selling strawberries and blueberries. Ellen later worked for and retired from the Missouri Department of Revenue. She was of strong Christian faith and a member of both the Walnut Grove First Christian Church and the Willard Mt Zion Presbyterian Church, where she was a loved Sunday school teacher to many. Ellen treasured three wonderful grandchildren, Brandon White, Sara White and Jessa Guy. Ellen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She always put her family first and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Mary Virginia, two sisters in law: Sandra Pierpont and Linda Wynkoop, and one brother in law: Orville Guy. Ellen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Garry, a son: David Guy and wife, Krista, a daughter: Janie and husband, Matt, three grandchildren, Brandon and Sara White and Jessa Guy, all of Walnut Grove, one brother, John Pierpont, and many loving nephews and nieces and many lifelong friends.

Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM, Friday, December 9, 2016 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, December 10, 2016, in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cave Springs Memorial Church and can be left at the funeral home.
