Eula Christine "Chris" Hudson, 99, of Aldrich, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was born on March 11, 1923, to Charles and Elsie (Williams) Crook. On October 26, 1941, Chris and Keith "Gene" Hudson, were united in marriage and shared over 77 years together, before Gene's passing in 2019.

Chris enjoyed life on the farm with the cows and growing vegetables. She was actively involved with cub scouts, boy scouts and YMCA while her boys were young. Chris was a talented painter and cook. She loved being involved with the Women's group of Eudora. For several years, Chris and her family enjoyed camping at the Hopi Indian Reservation of the Oraibi Tribe, usually around the time of Thanksgiving, making many wonderful memories. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Chris is survived by sons, Douglas Hudson and wife Carol, Charles Hudson and wife Renee; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; other family and many friends.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Hudson; siblings, Mitchel Crook, Noble Crook, and Beatrice Wilson.

Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, at the funeral home with burial at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Aldrich, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Chris' name to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery or Eudora Baptist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
