Evelyn "Colleen" Stockton, 88 of Walnut Grove, passed away, Thursday, December 24, 2020.  She was born on June 29, 1932, in the family home, in Dade County, to her loving parents Noble and Eileen (Pyle) Stockton.

Colleen was a lifelong area resident. She began her career in banking at Citizens Bank and then began working at Commerce Bank, where she retired after 43 years. Colleen was a member of Central Christian Church in Springfield and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also had been a member of Sweet Adelines but had to give that up when her father became ill. Colleen loved to sing and especially loved to sing with her mother.

Colleen is is survived by her cousin, Judy King and husband Jay; and many wonderful friends and neighbors.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and cousins, Victor Tyler and Elberta Elrod.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM-6:00PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Wheeler Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.  The family requests that all visitors wear masks and social distance.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Colleen's name to the donor's choice.
