Obituary

Gail Lynne (Steward) Killingsworth, 75 of Walnut Grove Missouri, won her final battle with illness surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 and received her ultimate reward from her Lord Jesus.

Gail was born on May 13, 1947 to Lawrence and Lois (McDonald) Steward in Springfield, MO. She was a 1965 graduate of Hillcrest High School. She was preceded in death by both parents as well as by her brother Russ.

On June 8, 1967, she married the love of her life, Scotty Killingsworth. They shared more than 56 years together, building a wonderful life for themselves and their 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Gail loved her family more than anything else and loved being with them. She has left an indelible mark and an amazing influence over each and every one of them. Her soft-spoken ways and her gentle guidance showed us how to live a life that honors God. She taught us how to live by faith and hope and how to prepare for an eternity in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Scotty Killingsworth and their children. Her legacy includes Keri Snyder and David of Miller, Mo, Jeremy "Jake" Killingsworth, Annie Jones and Andrew, all of Walnut Grove, MO. Her grandchildren, Amanda Leach and Jacob, Jack Snyder and Hannah of Ash Grove, MO, Jason Snyder and Tieryn of Springfield, Mo, Jonathan Snyder, Veda Jones, Deakon Jones, Bear Jones, Iva Jones and Witten Jones. Her great-grandchildren Emery, Ezekiel, Elam Leach, Ella, Barrett Snyder.

Her mother-in-law Maxine Killingsworth. Brothers and sisters-in-law Gary, Beverly, Lonnie, Vickie Killingsworth, Nancy Steward. Many many nieces and nephews and cousins, including a cousin more like a sister, Diana Seely Brown. Gail also leaves a community of friends and brothers and sisters in Christ who will all miss her.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Sac River Cowboy Church Event Center with burial to follow at Greene Lawn Cemtery, Walnut Grove.
