Gary "Bucky" Gillmore, 55, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021. He was born on January 8, 1966, to Robert E. and Goldie M. (Farmer) Gillmore, in Springfield, MO. On May 20, 2000, Bucky and Tammy Watson were officially united in marriage. They shared over 37 years together.

Bucky enjoyed spending time at the Springfield Raceway, the old Airport Speedway, fishing, casino runs, and listening to music. Bucky also enjoyed having a good gab session with friends, but most of all, Bucky loved his family, especially spoiling his grandson, Mason.

Bucky is survived by his wife Tammy Gillmore; son, Ryan Gillmore and girlfriend Ashley Dodson, daughter, Tahra Lock and husband Nathan; grandson, Mason Lock; siblings, Johnny Gillmore and wife Jean, Clara Gillmore, Lloyd Gillmore and wife Glenda, Bobby Joe Gillmore; beloved dog, Ruby; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Bucky was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Gillmore and Jiles Gillmore.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 10:00AM, at Antioch Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
