George Earl Simmons' Obituary
George Earl Simmons, the son of George and Imogene Bernice (Henson) Simmons, was born in Springfield, Mo., December 12, 2016. His age was 68 years, 4 months and 5 days.
George grew up in the Ash Grove area attended school and graduated
from Ash Grove High School in 1966. He was a Mechanic and Veteran
of the Vietnam War serving in the Army. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, two Purple Hearts and Rifle Sharpshooter Medals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Imogene Simmons and two brothers: Leslie and John Simmons.
He is survived by his daughters: Evangeline Gomez, of Palm Desert, California and Debra Simmons of Springfield, Mo. and brother, Bobby and wife Lonez Simmons, of Pleasant Hope, Mo. and nieces and nephews.
